It feels very overwhelming being a new teacher. Don't hesitate to
ask for help. Having a good relationship with your peer teachers will really
help you answer your questions. I have a wonderful 6th grade math teachers
group. We share resources, lesson plans and ideas. We even plan together our
days. Anytime I get stuck they are only an email away.
It may feel like you are dumped with bunch
of things to take care of without any instructions, but your life line is your
peers. They all have gone through the same situation and will always be willing
to help you out.
Your other help comes from your Education
services folks. They also provide lots of help to teacher in the district. They
are there to help you or at least steer you in the right direction.
After all it isn't too bad. It just feels annihilating but it isn't!!
